Money Debt and Credit Group plc was incorporated in the UK as a Public Limited Company (Company Number 05030248) in January 2004. While its name suggested involvement in debt and credit services, the company came to the attention of regulators for its activities in the investment sector. In 2009, the UK's financial regulator, the FCA (then FSA), issued a public warning identifying the firm as a "boiler room" that was not authorised to conduct financial services but was actively targeting UK investors for share-dealing. The company was officially dissolved in May 2012.
