Established in 2004 as Swindon Moneybox Credit Union, the organization has since expanded its service area. As a financial cooperative, it is owned and controlled by its members. The credit union's mission is to promote thrift by encouraging regular savings and to provide its members with access to credit at fair and reasonable interest rates. All profits are reinvested into the credit union to improve services or are returned to members as a dividend.
