Founded in 1934, Missouri Credit Union (MCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to provide sound, comprehensive financial services to its member-owners. Unlike a traditional bank, MCU returns profits to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. Membership is primarily open to employees of the State of Missouri, the University of Missouri System, and their families, as well as residents of specific Missouri counties.
