Founded in 1996, Midland Savings and Loans Limited was a non-bank financial institution licensed by the Bank of Ghana. It began as a small finance house and grew to offer a diverse range of financial products, including various savings and current accounts, fixed-term investments, and credit facilities for personal, SME, and corporate clients. The company's mission was to provide customer-focused financial solutions and contribute to Ghana's economic development. However, it faced severe liquidity challenges, leading to the revocation of its operating license by the central bank in 2019.
