The company is renowned for creating popular free-to-play games with gacha mechanics, most notably *Genshin Impact*, *Honkai Impact 3rd*, and *Honkai: Star Rail*. In 2022, the company launched the HoYoverse brand to unify its global publishing operations and expand its content creation across multiple media, including games, anime, manga, and music, with a mission to create immersive virtual worlds for a global audience.
