The MetLife Premier Client Group of New Jersey was a regional operation of MetLife's U.S. retail advisory business, focused on providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, insurance, and retirement solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. It operated as part of a nationwide network of MetLife financial advisors. In a strategic shift to focus on its core insurance and employee benefits businesses, MetLife sold its entire U.S. retail advisor network to Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) in 2017. As a result, the advisors, staff, and operations of the MetLife Premier Client Group were integrated into MassMutual's own advisory firm, MassMutual Financial Advisors.
