Founded in 1982, the Michigan Certified Development Corporation (MCDC) is a private, non-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to administer the SBA 504 Loan Program. Its primary mission is to foster economic growth and job creation by providing affordable, long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as commercial real estate and heavy equipment, to small and medium-sized businesses across Michigan. MCDC partners with local banks and other conventional lenders to structure financing packages that help businesses expand while minimizing their down payment requirements.
