The McLennan Community Investment Fund (MCIF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to fostering economic growth in McLennan County, Texas. Founded by local leaders from the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, the City of Waco, and McLennan County, MCIF's mission is to support the creation and expansion of small businesses, with a particular focus on minority- and women-owned enterprises. It achieves this by providing flexible and affordable loans, along with valuable technical assistance, to entrepreneurs who may not qualify for traditional financing.
