Founded in 1984, the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF) is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that mobilizes capital and partners to build communities of opportunity, equity, and well-being. LIIF provides innovative financing, in the form of loans and other investments, as well as technical assistance to support projects such as affordable housing, high-quality early care and education centers, schools, and community facilities. Its mission is to serve as a steward for capital invested in community-building, working to create a nation where everyone has a safe, affordable home and the chance to thrive.
