Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), or the Armed Forces Fund Board, was established in 1972 under the Tabung Angkatan Tentera Act 1973 (Act 101). Its primary mission is to provide retirement and other financial benefits to serving members of the Malaysian Armed Forces and volunteer forces. LTAT operates as a superannuation fund, collecting mandatory monthly contributions from its members and investing these funds across a diversified portfolio of assets, including equities, property, and other strategic investments, to generate sustainable returns and ensure the financial security of armed forces personnel upon their retirement.
