Founded in 2000 in Durham, North Carolina, the Latino Community Credit Union (LCCU) was established to provide fair financial services to immigrant and underserved communities who were often excluded from the mainstream financial system. As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), LCCU's mission is to provide an ethical and inclusive path to financial well-being. It offers a full suite of bilingual financial services, including savings and checking accounts, personal loans, mortgages, auto loans, and business services, all while focusing on financial education and returning profits to its members through better rates and lower fees.
