Founded in 1936 to serve the employees of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) at Langley Field, Langley Federal Credit Union has grown into one of the largest credit unions in Virginia. As a not-for-profit cooperative, its profits are returned to members in the form of lower interest rates on loans, higher dividends on savings, and reduced fees. The credit union's mission is to help members "Save, Borrow, and Spend Wisely" by offering a complete range of financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services.
