Founded in 1998 by tea farmers in Kyamuhunga, Bushenyi District, KYAPS is a Tier 4 financial institution regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA). Its primary mission is to be a leading, self-sustaining SACCO by mobilizing savings from its members and providing them with affordable and accessible financial services in a sustainable manner. The institution has grown significantly from its origins, now serving a diverse membership across multiple branches with a range of products including various savings accounts, agricultural loans, business loans, and asset financing.
