Kredietunie Brabant is a Dutch credit union established as a cooperative by and for entrepreneurs in the North Brabant region. Its primary mission is to stimulate local entrepreneurship by providing an alternative source of financing for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that may have difficulty securing traditional bank loans. The model involves member entrepreneurs (creditors) pooling their capital, which is then lent out to other member entrepreneurs (debtors), complemented by coaching and mentorship from experienced members.
