Founded in 1992, the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE) operates under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea. Its primary mission is to facilitate and strengthen the global competitiveness of Korean companies by mitigating the risks associated with international trade and overseas investment. K-SURE achieves this by offering a comprehensive range of financial tools, including short and long-term export insurance, export bond insurance, and overseas investment insurance, which protect Korean exporters and investors against non-payment by foreign buyers or political risks in host countries.
