Originally registered in 1993 as Kenyatta National Hospital Staff Sacco Society Ltd, the organization rebranded in 2008 to Kenyatta Matibabu SACCO Society Ltd to reflect a national outlook. Its core mission is to promote thrift among its members by providing a means of saving and creating a source of credit for them at fair and reasonable interest rates. The SACCO serves employees from the Ministry of Health and various other public and private healthcare institutions across Kenya.
