Founded in 1961, JSC Federal Credit Union (JSC FCU) was established to serve the financial needs of the employees of NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center, which is now the Johnson Space Center. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide its members with a safe and convenient place to save and obtain loans at reasonable rates. Unlike a traditional bank, its members are its owners. The credit union offers a full range of financial services, including savings and checking accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services, with a focus on serving its specific field of membership.
