Jinju Caifu was an internet finance platform operated by Hangzhou Shengyu Network Technology Co., Ltd., based in Hangzhou, China. Launched in 2015, the company focused on providing peer-to-peer (P2P) lending services, connecting individual investors with borrowers. The platform primarily offered short-term investment products with promised high returns. However, in November 2018, amidst a wider crackdown on the P2P industry in China, Jinju Caifu collapsed. The platform became inaccessible, and its executives could not be reached, leading to a police investigation for suspected illegal absorption of public deposits.
