PT Penjaminan Jamkrindo Syariah, also known as JamSyar, was established on September 19, 2014, as a spin-off from the Sharia Business Unit of Perum Jamkrindo. As a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise, its primary mission is to support the national economy by providing Sharia-based guarantee products (Kafalah) for financing extended by financial institutions to MSMEs. The company facilitates access to capital for businesses by mitigating the credit risk for lenders, all while operating strictly under Islamic finance principles as supervised by the National Sharia Board (DSN-MUI) and the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK).
