Founded in 1989, the Israeli Bookkeepers Association (officially known as The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in Israel) is the primary professional organization for bookkeepers in the country. As a registered non-profit organization (Amuta), its mission is to advance the bookkeeping profession, set and maintain high professional and ethical standards, and serve the interests of its thousands of members. The association provides a wide range of services including professional training, certification exams, continuing education courses, conferences, legal and professional support, and representation before government authorities.
