The Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) is the US-based economic empowerment arm of the International Rescue Committee (IRC). As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), CEO's mission is to provide refugees, immigrants, and low- to moderate-income individuals with opportunities to build assets and achieve financial independence. Its services are designed to address the unique barriers these communities face and include financial coaching, affordable credit-building and small business loans, and career readiness programs. By offering these tools, CEO aims to close the racial and ethnic wealth gap for new Americans and foster their long-term economic success.
