Launched in October 2003, the International Finance Forum (IFF) was established by financial leaders from over 20 countries and regions, including China, the US, and the EU, in conjunction with international organizations like the UN, World Bank, and IMF. Often referred to as the "F20" (Finance 20), the IFF's mission is to promote global financial stability and sustainable development through high-level dialogue, communication, and research. It functions as a strategic think tank and an academic exchange platform, convening annual global meetings and policy dialogues for leaders from the political, financial, and academic sectors to address critical issues in the global economy.
