ING Vysya Bank
Information by Research Trustfinance
ING Vysya Bank was a private sector bank headquartered in Bangalore, India, with a history dating back to 1930. It was formed from the merger of Vysya Bank, an Indian private sector bank, and the Dutch financial giant ING Group. The bank offered a comprehensive suite of financial products and services, including retail banking, wholesale banking, and private banking to a wide range of customers. In a landmark deal announced in 2014 and effective in 2015, ING Vysya Bank merged with Kotak Mahindra Bank, creating what was then India's fourth-largest private sector bank. All of its operations and branches were subsequently rebranded under the Kotak Mahindra Bank name.
