The Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) is one of the largest public pension funds in the United States, managing retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for public employees and retirees in Indiana. Established by state legislation in 2011, INPRS consolidated the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) and the Teachers' Retirement Fund (TRF). Its mission is to prudently manage the assets of the funds held in trust, serving over 475,000 members on behalf of more than 1,200 state and local government employers.
