Independence National Bank was a nationally chartered community bank founded in 2005 and headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. The bank focused on providing a full suite of banking services, including commercial loans, consumer loans, and deposit products, primarily to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals, and individuals in the Upstate South Carolina region. Its mission was to offer personalized, relationship-based banking services. On January 1, 2017, Independence National Bank was officially acquired by and merged into South State Bank.
