IMPPPACT is a global initiative jointly managed by the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) and United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). Its core mission is to bridge the significant financing gap for urban infrastructure in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) by providing technical assistance. The facility helps local governments identify, prepare, and structure commercially viable projects, particularly through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), making them attractive to domestic and international investors. This support aims to accelerate sustainable development, improve municipal services, and enhance urban resilience.
