The Instituto Federal de Alagoas (IFAL) is a public institution of higher, basic, and professional education in Brazil, part of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. Established by law in December 2008, it was formed by the integration of the former Federal Center for Technological Education of Alagoas (Cefet-AL) and the Federal Agrotechnical Schools of Satuba and Maragogi. Its mission is to provide professional and technological education through teaching, research, and extension, aiming to foster citizenship and contribute to the socioeconomic development of the state of Alagoas.
