Indian Banks' Digital Infrastructure Company (IBDIC) is a Section 8 (not-for-profit) company incorporated in November 2021 and promoted by the Indian Banks' Association (IBA). It was created as a collaborative initiative by Indian banks to develop, operate, and maintain a common digital infrastructure. The primary goal is to enhance the efficiency, security, and capabilities of the banking industry by providing shared platforms for services such as data validation, fraud risk mitigation, and potentially a public credit registry, thereby reducing costs and improving services for member banks.
