Founded in 1972, Hudson Valley Bank operated as a full-service commercial bank serving individuals, businesses, and municipalities primarily in the Hudson Valley region of New York. The bank offered a comprehensive suite of products, including checking and savings accounts, commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate loans, and wealth management services. In 2015, Hudson Valley Bank was acquired by Sterling National Bank. Sterling National Bank subsequently merged with Webster Financial Corporation in 2022 and rebranded under the name Webster Bank, absorbing all of Hudson Valley Bank's former operations and branches.
