Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ) is a public, not-for-profit health plan established in 1996 by community and health care leaders in San Joaquin County. Its mission is to continuously improve the health of its community by providing access to high-quality, affordable health care. HPSJ operates as the local initiative managed care plan for Medi-Cal beneficiaries, serving members across San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties in California through an extensive network of healthcare providers.
