Founded in 1904, HFLA of Northeast Ohio is a non-profit (501(c)(3)) organization whose mission is to help people achieve their financial and life goals through interest-free lending. The organization provides loans without interest or fees to members of the Northeast Ohio community, regardless of religion, race, or background. This model is based on the Jewish value of "lending with a good heart" and aims to empower individuals, support students, assist small businesses, and help families navigate life-cycle events and emergencies.
