Founded in 2017 by former executives from the online bank Simple, Haven Money was a fintech startup that offered a holistic personal finance management app. The platform aggregated a user's financial accounts (checking, savings, credit cards, loans) into a single dashboard. Its core mission was to provide personalized, actionable advice to help users improve their financial health, find better financial products, and automate savings. In December 2020, Credit Karma acquired Haven Money for its technology and team to enhance its own financial service offerings, particularly Credit Karma Money. Following the acquisition, the Haven Money application was officially shut down in mid-2021, and its team was integrated into Credit Karma.
