Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Fort Pierce, Florida, Harbor Community Bank was a state-chartered bank dedicated to serving the needs of individuals and businesses in Central and Southeast Florida. The bank focused on building strong community relationships by offering a comprehensive suite of products, including personal and business checking/savings accounts, commercial loans, real estate lending, and wealth management services. In a strategic move to expand its presence, First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company acquired Harbor Community Bank, with the merger officially completed on October 1, 2020. All Harbor Community Bank locations were subsequently rebranded as First Citizens Bank branches.
