Originally chartered in 1957 as Keesler Federal Credit Union #11, the institution became Gulf Coast Community Federal Credit Union after being granted a community charter in 2005. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to meet the financial needs of its members by providing quality services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and other financial products, while maintaining a strong financial position. The credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
