Established in 1983, the Guernsey International Insurance Association (GIIA) serves as the primary industry body representing the interests of insurance and reinsurance companies, insurance managers, and associated service providers in Guernsey. Its core mission is to promote Guernsey as a leading international insurance and reinsurance domicile, to facilitate a supportive business environment for its members, and to act as a key liaison between the industry, the government, and the regulator, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC). GIIA provides a platform for members to collaborate, share knowledge, and address common challenges, thereby supporting the continued growth and reputation of Guernsey's insurance sector.
