Established as a financial co-operative, Greenwich & Bexley Credit Union is owned and controlled by its members. Its core mission is to promote thrift and provide its community with access to affordable credit and other financial services, operating as a local, ethical alternative to traditional banks and high-cost lenders. The credit union has a history rooted in community action, having been formed through the efforts of local residents and eventually merging the operations of both the Greenwich and Bexley credit unions to serve a wider area.
