Originally chartered in 1948 as St. Cloud Veterans Administration Hospital Employees Federal Credit Union, Great River Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. As a member-owned institution, its profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. The credit union is dedicated to guiding its members to financial success by providing a variety of personal and business banking services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services.
