Founded in 1994, Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust was a private banking and wealth management company headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. The bank focused on providing customized financial solutions, including private banking, residential and commercial real estate lending, and wealth management services to an affluent client base. In 2018, the company was acquired by Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc. and was integrated into the Boston Private brand. Boston Private was subsequently acquired by Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) in mid-2021.
