gft markets
Information by Research TrustFinance
GFT Markets, founded in 1997 as Global Forex Trading, was a prominent US-based financial services company specializing in online currency, Contracts for Difference (CFDs), and spread betting for retail investors. The company was well-known for its proprietary trading platform, DealBook 360. In a series of acquisitions between 2013 and 2015, GFT's US client base was sold to OANDA, and its remaining global business was acquired by GAIN Capital Holdings, the parent company of Forex.com. Following the acquisition, the GFT brand and its platforms were phased out and its clients were migrated to GAIN Capital's services.
