Founded in 2011, GetGoing initially launched as a consumer-facing travel website but later pivoted to the business-to-business (B2B) sector. The company developed an innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) online booking tool designed specifically for small and mid-sized companies to manage their corporate travel. In April 2016, GetGoing was acquired by BCD Travel, a leading global travel management company. The GetGoing team and its technology were integrated into BCD Travel's product portfolio, primarily to enhance its TripSource platform. The original GetGoing company ceased to operate as an independent entity following the acquisition.
