Founded in 1934, Georgia's Own Credit Union is one of the largest and oldest credit unions in Georgia. Originally established to serve employees of the City of Atlanta, it has since expanded its membership eligibility to include residents of numerous Georgia counties and employees of partner companies. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to return earnings to its members through better rates, lower fees, and improved services, focusing on the financial well-being of its members and communities.
