The Georgetown Impact Investing Group (GIIG) is the first student-run impact investing fund at Georgetown University. Founded in 2021 by MBA students, GIIG is supported by the Beeck Center for Social Impact & Innovation and the Georgetown McDonough School of Business. Its mission is to make investments that generate both a financial return and a positive, measurable social and environmental impact. The group primarily provides flexible debt capital to social enterprises operating in emerging markets to help them scale their operations and deepen their impact.
