Originally chartered in 1940 as the San Antonio City Employees Federal Credit Union, the institution has grown significantly and undergone several name changes, becoming Generations Family Federal Credit Union in 1983 and simplifying to Generations Federal Credit Union in 2004. As a member-owned cooperative, its mission is to serve as a trusted financial partner for its members, returning profits in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and enhanced services. The credit union offers a full suite of personal and business financial products, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, credit cards, and investment services.
