Gatsby
Information by Research Trustfinance
Founded in 2018, Gatsby aimed to simplify and democratize options and stock trading for a younger generation of investors. The platform offered a user-friendly mobile interface, commission-free trades, and social features to create a more engaging trading experience, positioning itself as a competitor to Robinhood. In late 2022, the company was acquired by social investment network eToro as part of its strategy to expand its U.S. presence. Following the acquisition, the Gatsby team and technology were integrated into eToro, and the standalone Gatsby app and service were officially shut down in July 2023, with users migrated to eToro's platform.
