France Assureurs, formerly the Fédération Française de l'Assurance (FFA) until late 2021, is the primary trade association for the French insurance market. It brings together 248 insurance and reinsurance companies, which collectively represent 99% of the market. Its core mission is to represent the interests of the insurance industry to public authorities in France and internationally, act as a social partner for the sector, provide technical and statistical analysis, promote risk prevention and road safety, and inform the public about insurance.
