First Choice Funeral Plans, a trading name of The Plan Partnership Ltd, was a company that specialised in selling pre-paid funeral plans to customers in the United Kingdom. These plans were designed to allow individuals to pay for their funeral arrangements in advance, at a fixed price, to protect against rising costs. However, when the regulation of the pre-paid funeral plan market was transferred to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in July 2022, the company failed to secure the necessary authorisation. As a result, it was forced to cease all regulated activities and subsequently entered administration.
