Established in 2021 by a passionate group of FinTech professionals, the Fintech Association of Ethiopia (FinTechET) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that serves as the unified voice for the country's financial technology sector. Its core mission is to support the growth of the Ethiopian FinTech industry by creating a collaborative platform for stakeholders, advocating for enabling policies and regulations, promoting innovation, and facilitating partnerships. The association works closely with startups, financial institutions, regulators, and investors to drive digital financial inclusion and position Ethiopia as a leading FinTech hub in Africa.
