In February 2022, Finrise was acquired by Wag Labs, Inc. (now Wag! Group Co.), the operator of a leading mobile-first marketplace for pet services. Wag! acquired Finrise to integrate its financing technology into a new suite of "Wellness" products, enabling Wag! to offer its users options like pet insurance and financing for wellness plans directly through its platform.
