Founded in Austria, Finnest established itself as a leading crowdinvesting platform in the German-speaking region (DACH). The company's mission was to provide alternative financing solutions for successful small and medium-sized enterprises (the "Mittelstand") by allowing them to raise capital directly from a "crowd" of investors. In April 2021, Finnest merged with the Finnish digital investment platform Invesdor to create one of Europe's leading digital investment and financing platforms. The combined entity continues to operate under the Invesdor brand, with the former Finnest team and operations forming the core of Invesdor's presence in the DACH market.
