Its services included identity theft protection, credit monitoring, password management, and fully managed identity restoration. The company grew by partnering with financial institutions, insurance companies, and benefit providers to offer its services as a value-added benefit. In 2018, EZShield merged with IdentityForce to form Sontiq, which was later acquired by the global credit reporting agency TransUnion in December 2021. Today, the original EZShield services are part of TransUnion's comprehensive identity protection offerings.
